Louis serves as Executive Administrator for Wellstone Action. He was born and raised in the Twin Cities. He graduated in 2006 from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with an emphasis on poetry. After living in Iowa City and Eugene, Oregon for about 5 years, Louis decided in 2007 that Minnesota could be more than just a place to grow up.

Louis has a deep appreciation for alternative, sustainable transportation. He is dedicated to commuting by bike year-round. He was raised in a pacifist family, has been involved in progressive politics since childhood, has protested against war, and proudly marched with Paul and Sheila Wellstone.

Wellstone Action goes down under

Here at Wellstone Action's headquarters, we're finally accepting that winter is sticking around. On the other side of the world, summer is heating up in Australia, where the training organization Campaign Action, inspired and modeled after Wellstone Action, officially launched on November 23, 2010.
