Marco Davila was born in Mexico City, and came to the U.S at age 16. After graduating high school, Marco became involved with the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Coalition (MIRAc) and organized for a fair immigration policy. As a student at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Marco was active in Chicanos/Latinos Unidos and mentored young Latino students.
Currently, Marco actively organizes in the local committee for Frente Farabundo Martà para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN), a progressive Salvadorian political party. Marco is committed to mobilizing Salvadorans and other immigrant groups to impact elections and change public policy.
Marco enjoys reading, watching documentaries, and playing soccer.
