Mohammed Abdi has been working with Somali Action Alliance since 2004, helping to organize a voter engagement campaign where they knocked more than 5000 doors, contacted more than 4000 thousand people and registered more than 1000 people. That campaign was successful at raising awareness in the Somali community about the importance of engaging in the electoral process.

Mohammed built on this success in 2006, engaging even more members of the Somali community. He is experienced in both electoral and community organizing.
