Prairie Rose Seminole is a enrolled tribal member of the Three Affiliated Tribes of ND, descendent of the Sahnish/Arikara, Northern Cheyenne, Mandan and Lakota Nations. She is the immediate past Chair of the Fargo Human Relations Commission, a Commission she has served since 2001. She has held faculty appointments with the Tri-College NEW Leadership Institute - a residential program that empowers women in public and community leadership. Prairie Rose has been a social media trainer for the White House Project's Go Run which provides women with the nuts and bolts of campaigning.

Prairie Rose is a poet and formerly the Lead Organizer for Change That Works ND, which was a state-by-state program that engaged millions of Americans in fulfilling President Obama's campaign promise of change, that both revives our economy and builds it stronger.  She has 10 years of community organizing experience. As a longtime activist her story has been published in Nona Willis Aronowitz's book "Girldrive - Criss-crossing America, Redefining Feminism" and Billy Black's book "Beautiful Women of ND". 

Prairie Rose is the Coordinator for the Native American Center Project in Fargo, North Dakota.
