Originally from Kentucky, Ross Wallen was a communications intern at Wellstone Action in 2008 and 2009. Ross graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN in 2007 with a degree in Anthropology and African Studies. While at Macalester Ross studied at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa and traveled around Southern Africa.

Since graduation, Ross served as an Americorps*VISTA, coordinating volunteers and working with students, parents, and community groups at Roosevelt High School in South Minneapolis. Ross also worked at Take Action Minnesota, organizing and fundraising for affordable, quality health care during the elections of '08.
