Carpool to the Polls

We've heard many excuses for not voting, but maybe the most inexcusable is "I couldn't get away from the office". Not only is it the duty of citizens to vote, workday or not, but federal law requires that employers allow employees time off to vote on Election Day.

Taking the initiative to suggest a carpool to polling places from the office or school campus not only makes it easier for people to get to the polls, but creates peer pressure at the office to actually put down the work and vote!
